The off-trade takes a growing share of the UK drinks market.

Supermarkets lead but there is also a growing band of specialist off-licences and beer mail-order firms.

We currently champion drinking in communal settings – mainly pubs, bars and clubs. But do we now need to tackle the key social trend towards drinking at home with family and friends?

Who should CAMRA represent: all drinkers, or just those who drink socially in pubs and clubs?
